Description
For my fourth entry on Pellucidar's creatures, I added in requests by (for sauropods) and (for spinosaurs and iguanodontids). After this, I will focus on my actual story of Tarzan's adventures here:
- LIDIS - Sauropods, likely descended from diplodocids; at 35m long, they are easily Pellucidar's biggest animals; characterized by the row of protective spikes on their necks' undersides
- Adult Lidis have virtually nothing to fear, but youngsters are often targeted by jaloks, zariths, diusoths and even the Mahars and thipdars
- HONBOS - Iguanadontids, likely descended from Muttaburrasaurus; inflatable sacs in their snouts (brightly coloured in the males) enable them to produce booming calls
- Other dinosaurs, like lone Gyors, often accompany Honbo herds for mutual safety
- DIUSOTHS - Spinosaurids; like their ancestors, they will gladly hunt both in and out of water; often fight young zariths for territory
- Sithics live in constant wariness of diusoths, the only predators that can chase them down in water
- KLIRIS - Leptictids; able to glide between trees like flying squirrels
