Description

After finding this meme by :iconmirz333: - khialat.deviantart.com/art/Vil… - I thought I'd give it a try:

"Something to Prove Villain" - Dr. Griffin/The Invisible Man (H. G. Wells' The Invisible Man) - He's made an amazing discovery, and is eager to gain wealth and fame for it, but his frustrated efforts to reverse what he's done to himself drive him mad.

"Sadist" - Myotismon/VenomMyotismon/MaloMyotismon (Digimon) - Of all the evil Digimon the DigiDestined encountered across the first two series, this guy disgusted me the most. Ruthlessly cruel to enemies and servants alike, and powerful enough to get away with it for a good while before finally meeting a well-deserved destruction.

"Dangerous Idiot" - Cedric the Sorcerer (Sofia the First) - Constantly trying to steal the Amulet of Avalor from Sofia, hoping that it will help him take over Enchancia and give him the power and respect he's always wanted. However, when he finally succeeded in the episode "Cedric Be Good", he found that the amulet cursed him whenever he made bad, selfish decisions, making his efforts look pretty fruitless. Not to mention the fact that his friendship with Sofia would be jeopardized if she found out what he's been trying to do.

"Couldn't Possibly Be a Villain" - Jerry Dandrige (Fright Night) - A handsome, charming man that everyone in his neighbourhood likes and trusts. But Charley Brewster discovers the truth: he's a murderous, bloodsucking vampire responsible for the seduction and deaths of several women. But nobody believes Charley at first; the fact that he tends to watch a lot of horror films, of course, doesn't help.

"Nihilist" - The Joker (virtually all his incarnations) - To the Joker, any form of order, law and morality is a sham. He dismisses human life as random and worthless, and thus has no qualms about killing, maiming, torturing and breaking just about every law in Gotham City and beyond. What's worse, he tries to drive other people mad, seemingly intent on dragging as many souls as possible down the same bloody and chaotic path he has embraced. And then of course there's the numerous ways he's found to harm his arch-nemesis Batman and those close to him, always smug in the knowledge that because the Dark Knight refuses to kill, he'll just be sent back to Arkham Asylum to comfortably plan his next escape.

"Not Quite a Villain" - The Amoeba Boys (The Powerpuff Girls) - The Girls think they're adorable - and you can see why. They desperately want to be taken seriously, but lack the brainpower or genuine malice to do much more than littering, jaywalking, stealing an orange pip, etc.. On the few occasions they have genuinely threatened the city, it tended to be purely by accident - like in "Geshuntfight", where the spent a rainy night standing near the "Keep Off the Grass" sign at Townsville Park, catching a severe cold that, thanks to their amoebic nature, soon spread throughout the city.

"Villain With a Cause" - Dawn Bellwether (Zootopia/Zootropolis) - Sick and tired of being underappreciated and kicked around by predators - particularly her boss Mayor Lionheart - Bellwether uses "night howler" plants to turn predators savage, giving the impression of them reverting to their primitive instincts and turning the prey population against them. Interestingly, she sees Judy Hopps - a rabbit cop dismissed as a failure waiting to happen, yet eager to prove herself and do the right thing - as a kindred spirit at first.

"Big Brute" - Lugnut (Transformers Animated) - Unlike most Decepticons, who tend to have some measure of duplicitousness and tendency to follow their own goals, Lugnut stands out in his dogged, unyielding loyalty to Megatron. And, of course, he's always happy to use his sheer mass and strength to batter and crush anyone who gets in his way, or that of his leader's interests.

"Just Freaking Insane" - Bill Cipher (Gravity Falls) - This one-eyed demon is very unpredictable, seeing as he's both incredibly powerful and twistedly crazy. Able to warp his own shape and the reality around him, and possessing a talent for underhanded deception, he's easily the most formidable foe the Pines and their friends face. They were only able to stop him through trickery, effectively beating him at his own game. Also worth noting is that he's very funny, so the viewer enjoys his presence even if his enemies don't.

"Evil Scientist" - Dr. Anton Sevarius (Gargoyles) - Not only is he willing to use humans, gargoyles and other beings as unwilling guinea pigs, but Sevarius actually deliberately plays on his role, giving an exaggerated, hammy performance worthy of a B movie each time he appears.

"Supervillain" - Dr. Arliss Loveless (Wild Wild West) - Brilliantly inventive, murderously ruthless, equipped with many associates and steampunk machines, and harbouring a scheme to alter the United States of America beyond recognition, Loveless is a force to be reckoned with. Quite impressive for a man who lost his lower body in the Civil War. Plus, he's another villain with an edge of humour and quirkiness to make his scenes enjoyable.

"Vengeful Villain" - Syndrome/Buddy Pine (The Incredibles) - Angry and bitter about being turned down when he tried to become Mr. Incredible's sidekick, Buddy became his nemesis instead. He amassed enormous wealth and built formidable inventions and weapons, and used them in an elaborate plot to kill almost a whole generation of superheroes and make himself look like one.
